Thief Hunt is the alliance stamina event: you spend stamina attacking thieves on the map, and thief kills roll for a chance to spawn a Thief Leader boss the whole alliance can rally. It converts your spare stamina into the exchange shop — one of the best value shops in the game if you buy it in the right order.
This guide covers boss spawn mechanics, the technique for spawning high-level bosses, the exchange priority list, and the boss squad.
How It Works
- Attack thieves on the map with stamina. Kills spawn the Thief Leader boss for an alliance rally — the spawn is rolled per thief killed, not per event day or per player.
- Bosses spawn on the first kill or after 20 — the roll happens early or after a streak. One alliance reports always 8 or more; expect variance and keep killing.
- Points and rewards do not increase later in the event. There is zero reason to hoard stamina — spend it immediately to roll for the big bosses sooner.
Boss Levels & Alliance Cap Progression
| Server age | Common boss levels |
|---|---|
| New servers | 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 / 30, rarely 35 |
| Developed servers | 40 / 65 / 80 / 85 / 90+ |
- How Level Cap Increases: Max discoverable Leader level increases after the highest Leader is defeated 3 times by your Alliance members (July 30, 2026 update).
- Discovery Ownership Rule: The Leader Level Cap only increases when Leaders discovered by your Alliance are defeated by your members. Defeats by other Alliances do not affect your level cap (July 2, 2026 update).
- Chief’s Coin Chest: Lv.80+ Thief Leaders now drop a valuable Chief’s Coin Chest, awarded directly to both the discoverer and the Rally initiator!
- Boss levels scale with the server development stage — high-age servers will no longer see low-level spawns.
The Nonstop-Kill Technique for Level 30/35
The verified technique for pushing boss levels to 30 and 35:
Kill thieves one by one WITHOUT letting your troops return to base — nonstop, back-to-back marches with zero idle time.
Marches returning to base break the streak; consecutive kills roll the spawn repeatedly. Chain your targets so the next march leaves the moment the last one lands, and the high-level spawns come far more often.
The Exchange Priority List
The exchange shop is the real reward, and the community consensus order is stable:
Week 1 Only
- Scrolls — 4 for Alliance Duel tech, then never again. Duel tech wants exactly four; after that they are dead weight.
Always, Every Event
- Raven Essence — every event, no exceptions. The Raven system is permanently bottlenecked on it (see the Raven guide).
High Priority
- Stamina
- Speedups
- Raven chest
- Epigraphs when available
Late Game
- Herbs — never enough of them; late-game accounts buy herbs every event.
Alternative Priority List
- Stamina
- LV3 Raven chest
- Blue/purple epigraph chests
- Research/construction speedups
- Recruitment tickets
And one inventory rule: the scroll limit carries over event to event. If you hit the scroll cap, that cap follows you into the next event — another reason the “four then never again” rule exists.
The Boss Rally Squad
The community boss comp, built for damage over time:
| Row | Heroes | Job |
|---|---|---|
| Front | Arthur + Bella | Survive longer — every extra second of survival stacks more damage |
| Back | Marlena + Shadow + Claire | Damage engine behind the frontline |
The logic: longer survival = more damage stacked. A boss fight is not a burst check — the squad that stands the longest deals the most, so prioritize survival over raw attack. Full hero details are in the Heroes guide.
